Callie Kyhl is an associate attorney at Morrison, Ross and Whelan. Her practice focuses on a variety of complex civil litigation matters, such as personal injury, medical malpractice, and business and property disputes.

Prior to attending law school, Callie worked as a paralegal for thirteen years, supporting attorneys handling civil litigation, personal injury, criminal defense, and domestic relations. During this time, Callie amassed extensive experience researching law; drafting complex pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and discovery; working with clients and witnesses; and investigating liability and damages theories with experts in a variety of fields, including chemistry, cosmetology, construction, psychology, neuropsychiatry, plastic surgery, and nursing.

Callie completed her Juris Doctorate at Mitchell Hamline School of Law while working full-time as a law clerk for Morrison, Ross and Whelan. Graduating summa cum laude, Callie obtained a Law and Business Certificate, as well as a Conflict Resolution Theory and Practice Certificate from Mitchell Hamline’s nationally ranked Dispute Resolution Institute. While completing her studies, Callie served as an editor for Mitchell Hamline Law Review – Volume 45 and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the top grade in her class in Commercial Law Survey, Evidence, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Negotiation, Mediation, and Theories of Conflict.

Callie brings a winning combination of creativity, practical experience, determination, and hard work to every case she handles. She is both an empathetic problem-solver and a confident courtroom advocate. Callie is passionate about resolving disputes for individuals and businesses in Fauquier County and the surrounding area.

Callie has resided in Fauquier County for over twenty years. She enjoys living and working in her home community with her husband, four young children, and beloved Basset Hound, Flash.
